- First Seat election is complete.
- Ballots were counted on October 19, 2010.
- Candidates and voters for this seat are the CEOs of each one of our units.
- Ira S. Singer, Town Administrator of Middleton, won with 80.8% of the weighted vote.
- Second Seat Election took place at the Advisory Council Meeting on September 20, 2010.
- Candidates and voters for this seat are the Treasurers of each one of our units.
- Kevin A. Merz, Treasurer of Ipswich, won in a unamimous 17 to 0 vote.
- Third and Fourth Seats election was overseen by the Advisory Council Chairman, Kevin Merz.
- Susan J. Yaskell won with 835 votes and H. Joseph Maney won with 548 votes.
- The runner ups were
- George M. Cole with 522 votes.
- Robert M. Stone with 336 votes
- John G. Willett with 248 votes.
- W. Lawrence Corcoran with 225 votes.
- Warren F. Kelley with 126 votes.

- Nominees must be retirees of the Essex Regional Retirement System.
- Nomination papers are available and must be completed by noon on October 29, 2010.
- Ballots will be mailed on November 9, 2010 and must be returned by November 30, 2010.
- Ballots will be opened on December 2, 2010 begining at 8 a.m..
- Susan J. Yaskell won with 835 votes and H. Joseph Maney won with 548 votes.
- Andrew W. Maylor was elected to fill the Fifth Seat by the four other Board members on December 13, 2010.
- This position must be filled by someone with no connection to the Essex Regional Retirement System.
- The deadline to apply was November 30, 2010
- Interviews were conducted on December 13, 2010 amongst four finalist candidates.
